CASE STUDY
IN/ES [INTERNAL/EXTERNAL] is an experimental martial arts basic course based on the combination between Tai Chi and Kung Fu principles as a proficient approach to Self-consciousness and martial training. The awareness of both internal and external approaches as a unicum that constantly flows.

To promote this course I was asked to create a simple and lightweight yet original brand and some digital content to be spread on FB and IG Ad campaigns.

I have been digging into the Chinese Martial Arts visual universe to come up with some fresh-looking graphics that would better fit a millennial European mood.

Special thanks to Andrea Pizzalis for helping me out with the video shooting!

CONCEPT

TRANSITIONS
I decided to focus on the concept of "Transition" as the inner core of the visual experience.
Transition between styles, arts and ages.

STYLE = FROM HAND-DRAWN > TO PRINT > TO DIGITAL

CONTEMPORARY : DIGITAL = FONT

MODERN : PRINT = PALETTE

TRADITIONAL : ARCHETYPE = TAO

TRANSITION : FLOW = DISTURB
